Tuki The Little Carpenter
Rp 35.000
Tuki the Little Carpenter tells the story of Tuki, a hardworking woodpecker who lives inside a massive tree in the forest. Every day, Tuki diligently pecks at the tree trunk to build a strong and safe nest before the rainy season arrives. Although his work is important, the loud sound of his beak disturbs his neighbors, Olie the dove and Cici the squirrel, who live nearby. Annoyed by the constant noise, they complain and begin to see Tuki as nothing more than a noisy and inconsiderate neighbor. Over time, other animals also avoid Tuki, leaving him lonely despite his good intentions. When the rainy season finally comes, a powerful storm hits the forest. Strong winds and heavy rain destroy many fragile nests, including those of Olie and Cici. Frightened and helpless, they cry out for assistance. Hearing their calls, Tuki immediately invites them into his nest. Although they hesitate at first, the worsening storm forces them to accept his help. Inside Tuki’s nest, they find warmth, safety, and sturdy wooden walls built through years of hard work. Safe from the storm, Olie and Cici realize that Tuki’s constant pecking was not meaningless noise, but careful preparation driven by responsibility and care. They apologize for judging him unfairly, and Tuki forgives them kindly. After the storm ends, the forest animals learn about Tuki’s strength and kindness. From that day on, the sound of “TUK! TUK! TUK!” is no longer considered annoying, but a reminder of hard work, cooperation, and appreciation for one another’s efforts.
